Glucose Widget is a desktop application that displays continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) data. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

INFORMATION COLLECTED

The app collects and stores:
– Your CGM account credentials (username and password)
– Display preferences (units, thresholds, refresh interval)
– Window position and size

HOW YOUR DATA IS STORED

– All data is stored locally on your computer only
– Passwords are encrypted using Windows Data Protection API (DPAPI)
– Settings location: %AppData%\GlucoseWidget\
– No data is transmitted to us or any third party

HOW YOUR DATA IS USED

– Credentials are used solely to authenticate with your CGM provider’s API
– The app connects directly to your CGM provider (Dexcom)
– We do not collect, transmit, or have access to your glucose readings or account information

DATA SHARING

We do not share any data. The app operates entirely on your device.

DATA RETENTION

– Data remains on your device until you uninstall the app
– Uninstalling removes the app but settings may remain in %AppData%\GlucoseWidget\
– You can manually delete this folder to remove all stored data

SECURITY

– Passwords are encrypted using Windows DPAPI, tied to your Windows user account
– No network communication except directly to your CGM provider’s official API

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

This app is not directed at children under 13.
