Getting started

1
Install from the Microsoft StoreOpen the Microsoft Store listing and click Get. It’s a signed, verified app — no security warnings — and launches with a free 7-day trial.
2
Open SettingsRight-click anywhere on the widget pill and choose Settings from the menu.
3
Enter Dexcom credentialsSign in with your Dexcom account — the same username/password you use in the Dexcom mobile app. The widget connects directly to your G7 via your Dexcom account.
4
Choose region & savePick Outside US (International) if you’re in Australia / Europe / Asia. Click Save and your live reading will appear within a minute.

Dexcom sharing setup — which account to use

Sign in to Glucose Widget with the primary Dexcom account — the one the sensor is set up under (the phone running the Dexcom G7 app). Do not use a follower account — follower logins can’t pull readings, so the widget won’t show anything.

Glucose Widget reads your levels through Dexcom’s official Share service, which only releases data when that primary account has Share turned on with at least one follower added. With no follower, no app (including this one) can see your data.

Following your own glucose? Enter your own primary Dexcom login, and add any follower in the Dexcom app (e.g. a family member) to switch sharing on.
A parent following your child? Enter your child’s Dexcom login (their primary account), not your own follower account.

Troubleshooting

"No data" or blank display
  • Verify your Dexcom G7 is actively sending data (check the Dexcom mobile app).
  • Sign in with the primary Dexcom account that owns the G7 — follower/share accounts are not supported.
  • Confirm your username and password match what works in the Dexcom app.
  • If you’re outside the US, make sure Region is set to Outside US (International).
Authentication failed
  • Double-check your email address and password — Dexcom passwords are case-sensitive.
  • Confirm the Region setting matches your Dexcom account.
  • Try signing into the Dexcom mobile app with the same credentials to verify them.
Widget disappears behind other windows

The widget is always-on-top by default, but full-screen applications (games, some video players) can override this. If it happens, right-click the widget and pick Refresh Now — that re-asserts the top-most flag. If it keeps happening, please email support.

License activation problems
  • Your licence key was emailed to the address you used on checkout — check spam if you can’t find it.
  • Each key is tied to one device. If you’ve swapped PCs, email us your key and we’ll re-issue it.
  • Licences revalidate once a week and tolerate a 7-day offline grace period.
Cancel or manage your subscription

Head to the licence portal, sign in with your purchase email, and you’ll find a link to your Stripe billing page for cancellations, invoices and payment-method changes.

Still stuck?

Email [email protected] with a screenshot of the widget plus the email address you used to purchase your licence. We’ll get you sorted.
